The Engineering department is the lifeline or heartbeat of STVA and it seeks to continuously provide high quality technology to the station and increase TV coverage while at the same time continuously researching on the latest technologies available in the market. This department has a mandate to further train staff on these ever changing technologies.

• To provide 100% coverage in the country and regionally.
• To manage capital projects for STVA in consultation with other departments.
• To provide technology that will benefit STVA.
• To maintain and repair all transmission technical equipment, as well as IT systems to the highest standard for minimization of down time.
• To support other departments on the use of technology and provide basic user training for the full utilization of the equipment.
