Formerly known as Business Scope, Swazi TV's Creative and Design team is changing the face of the Business Show, upgrading it to accommodate business in Swaziland, tourism and the latest lifestyle trends.
Production

Functions:

  • Research, compile and present educational and entertainment material or programmes.
  • Provide live broadcast services for national events and sporting activities such as soccer.
  • Develop a database and skills inventory of all local producers.
  • Establish a production fund which will see the birth of adequately funded local stories on television.
  • Provide a mechanism for networking and marketing of local producers in the international production industries, this will be done through the creation of a series of locally produced content that could then be availed worldwide through festivals and the satellite channel (in the future).

Objective:
Create products that will re-capture the attention of our viewers and market-share, promote Swazi culture and identity while at the same time promoting the one-world-one-village phenomenon (global village). This will be achieved through making our products relevant and contemporary to suit present day viewers' needs. We will achieve these through the below mentioned strategies:

  • Promote good quality local productions in a variety of genres targeted at different audiences.
  • Ensure that local content covers a significant and visible part of Swazi TV's daily programme schedule.
  • Showcase local talent by engaging local artists and filmmakers.
  • Invest in skills development by partnering with private production houses and also venturing into co-productions.
