The STAR business unit is fully owned by STVA. Its sole purpose is to generate extra income for the broadcaster and this is done through the following activities.

• Collecting TV licenses
• Renting out home entertainment audio-visual equipment.
• Carrying out repairs and installation of TV sets.
• Sales of audio-visual and related equipment.

The STAR business unit has got branches in Mbabane, Manzini and Mhlume.
