The minister for information communication and technology princess Sikhanyiso has encouraged all EmaSwati to avoid giving out personal electronic details to strangers and always protect themselves from widespread internet based crimes. The minister was speaking at Sibane Hotel at Ezulwini during the official launch of the National Cyber Security Awareness month where she was represented by National Archives Director Nqoba Msibi.

Outgoing SADC Chairman Dr Hage Geingob officially commissioned TV news show Eye on SADC in Windhoek. The show is broadcast in 10 SADC countries. At the launch President Geingob said the region understands and respect the role of the fifth estate, that of the media. The program was launched to tell SADC stories.
